Today was my B-day. It wasn't too exciting. Meredith, one of my friends and co-workers, showed up at school with balloons and birthday cards for Mike and I. She graduated from Bear Creek a few years go. That was strange. I hurt my leg in a football game we had during lunch hour. A few times a weeks a group of us throw the old nerf ball around. Sure it might not be the "coolest" thing but we have fun. I collided with my friend Joe. During cross-country practice I had to stop and walk a lap because I had a cramp of some sort. I couldn't even take a deep breath. In physics I got a 90 on my retest which will help my grade mucho. All the other classes went okay. I guess I should turn in now so that I get enough rest. Tomorrow morning I have some homework to do. We'll see how things go. I hope that tomorrow is a good day. I have to write my Kansas pen pal. Patty Pittman is a girl I met about two years ago. We met a Sky Ranch, a Lutheran summer camp, and have written ever since. She once admitted that she had feelings for me but that was long ago. Now, I just think she has changed so much and that having a pen pal isn't "cool". In any case, I should write Patty before the weekend. I think that I'll end each day with a quote.
"Hell those books could make Nebraska look exciting"-Mike Tartar (my brother) on the World Book Encyclopedia
