Oct 5th.

Today went well.  In French we had a really mean substitute.  Her favorite saying was "there's a time to talk and a time to work, it's time to work."  We had a lot of work to do in class.  I didn't have to go to Calculus because of a speaker for the seniors.  His name was Ken Davis.  He was pretty funny and had the message of ‘Be the Best of Yourself’.  I sat by my friends Sean Maslow, Peter Zizka, Joe Stewart, Andy Beck and by twin brother, Mike.  These guys are my group of friends.  I have known them since our days at Carmody Jr. High when we were fightin' Cobras.  We have had a lot of the advanced level classes together.  This semester I have Sean in French, English, Calculus, and Economics ;Pete in English ; Joe in Calculus and English ; Andy in Calculus, French and English.  Mike is in my Calculus, Physics and English classes.  Mike and I had a lab to do in Physics.  I was able to finish and understand it.  In English I wasn't paying attention because I was really tired.  That girl Julia is an exchange student from Belgium.  I hope to talk to her tomorrow because today I didn't.  Practice was really easy .  After practice Mike, Tony B. (a sophomore on the team) ,  Anglie M. ( a freshman on the team), and Chris B. (who is constantly flirting with me) and I went to McDonalds for free Big Macs courtesy of a kick butt Olympic team. Ummm, they were tasty.   McDs has a scratch off game where if the US wins gold, you win the food prize. On one hand it’s a pain at work because people are constantly asking for tickets to scratch. On the other, my job allows me pretty good access to free tickets. You would be surprised at the number of people who don’t even play the game.  When I got home I watched Weird Science, then drove to the Safeway which is about 8 minutes away, then some homework.  
            Last night I had the strangest dream.  Andrea was in it. I think that I am starting to like her.  I'm kind of glad because liking someone gives a purpose to everyday.  I haven't been "in like" with anyone in a while.   I thought that it was kind of weird that I was interested in Julia before I knew that she was foreign. Then again, she is pretty hot.
